    Road rankings have been updated to include races up to 24th June 2013. These rankings are for recognised (i.e. UKA certificated) road races for the period 1st September 2012 to 31st August 2013. They only include races where runners were representing Striders (though we show some flexibility with Marathons where runners often run for charities).

  • Lee leads Striders in Surrey Champs at Richmond 10K

    Lee Flanagan, from Striders of Croydon, ran well to place 20th out of 440 finishers in the Richmond 10 kilometre road race on Sunday, which incorporated the Surrey Championship.   • Sarah debuts with win for Striders

    Sarah Cobb made an excellent track debut for Striders of Croydon in the third Rosenheim League match of the season, at Tooting on Wednesday. She won the women’s shot with a putt of 6.30 metres.   • Cara leads Striders with fast 5K

    Cara Kayum, from Striders of Croydon, was the first woman to finish the Dulwich parkrun on Saturday. She covered the five-kilometre course in 20 minutes 24 seconds.   • Gold for Striders’ Kevin at Surrey Masters

    Four members of Striders of Croydon won gold medals in the annual Surrey Masters Championships, at Ewell on Saturday. Striders’ oldest athlete, 73-year-old Kevin Burnett, led the way by winning the over-70 100 metres (19.8) and 200 metres (42.3).
