Tatsuya Okamoto, from Striders of Croydon, ran well against strong opposition in the Battersea Park five-mile road race on Friday evening. He finished in 28 minutes 09 seconds, placing eleventh in the M40 age-group and 83rd overall. On Saturday morning, Selena Wong was the third woman to finish the Roundshaw parkrun, placing 23rd overall (24:22).

Striders of Croydon faced strong opposition in the South of England Masters Cross-Country Championships, held at Lloyd Park on Saturday.
