    Striders of Croydon did well to place third in the East Surrey League road race at Ewell on Thursday.     Striders of Croydon produced some good performances in the Sutton 10-kilometre road race on Sunday, which was the first event in this year’s Surrey Road League. Phil Coales ran very well to place tenth out of 342 finishers (35:04) with Tatsuya Okamoto 17th (35:55), Andrew Aitken 21st (36:06) and Andy Perks completing the scoring quartet
