Rachel Lindley, from Striders of Croydon, ran well to be the first woman to finish at the weekly parkrun in Lloyd Park on Saturday. She beat most of her male rivals, finishing fifth overall and covering the undulating five-kilometre course in 20 minutes 08 seconds. This was the third time in the last four weeks
Damian Macenhill, from Striders of Croydon, ran well to place 32nd out of 163 finishers, and second in the over-40 category, in the Wimbledon five-kilometre road race on Sunday, which incorporated the Surrey Championships.
