Striders of Croydon produced an excellent team performance to place second in the East Surrey League’s annual cross-country race at Lloyd Park on Saturday. Three members of Striders of Croydon competed in the Surrey Masters Cross-Country Championships at Richmond Park on Saturday. The club’s oldest competitor, Kevin Burnett, ran very well to place second in the over-75 race, covering the four-mile course in 45 minutes 21 seconds.
