Lee leads Striders in Surrey Champs at Richmond 10K
Lee Flanagan, from Striders of Croydon, ran well to place 20th out of 440 finishers in the Richmond 10 kilometre road race on Sunday, which incorporated the Surrey Championship. He recorded 34 minutes 56 seconds. Damian Macenhill also ran well to finish 46th (37.05) with Krzysztof Klidzia 54th (37.23), Taylor Huggins 66th (37.59) and Ernie Hann 83rd (39.00). Striders’ women were led by Zoe Williams (47.59) followed by Karen Macenhill (51.30), Kim Ford (60.45), Sarah Cobb (61.43) and Ivanka Brown (61.45).
