Simon and Justin lead the mass of Striders’ parkrunners
Simon Ambrosi, from Striders of Croydon, ran well to place second in the weekly parkrun in Lloyd Park on Saturday, covering the undulating five-kilometre course in 18 minutes 59 seconds. Club colleague Graham Hansen was fourth (19.11). Striders had two of the first three women to finish, with Nadine Pryce placing 50th overall (24.58) and Michelle Campbell 59th (25.28). Meanwhile Justin Macenhill won the Lanhydrock parkrun in Cornwall (20.02), while Graeme Drysdale was third in the Riddlesdown parkrun (18.38) and Allan Phillips was third in the Orpington parkrun (19.49). Striders had a total of 54 finishers in the various weekly parkruns (21 at Lloyd Park and 33 at other venues).
