    Martin Filer, from Striders of Croydon, ran well to place first out of 121 finishers in the Riddlesdown parkrun on Saturday. He completed the five-kilometre course in 19 minutes 26. Rachel Lindley was the first woman to finish the Epworth parkrun in Lincolnshire, placing second overall out of 38 finishers (20:26). Niamh Vincent was the first woman to finish the South Norwood parkrun, placing eighth overall (21:48).

    Lee Flanagan was second out of 182 finishers in the Lloyd parkrun (19:28), while Cindy Siu was the second woman to finish, placing 41st overall (25:29). Andy Perks was second out of 45 finishers in the Bethlem Royal Hospital parkrun (20:00). Erik Schrijnemaekers was third out of 84 finishers in the Yodogowa parkrun in Japan (18:27). Consuelo Kennefick was the third woman to finish the Riddlesdown parkrun, placing 31st overall (25:23). Phil Coales was fourth out of 742 finishers in the Burgess parkrun in Camberwell (16:39). Mark Long was fifth out of 47 finishers in the Clonbur Woods parkrun in Galway (23:38). Striders had a total of 100 finishers in the various weekly parkruns.

    Also on Saturday, Tim Lawlor was tenth in the M45 age-group in the RunThrough Battersea Half-Marathon, recording a personal best 89 minutes 36. On Sunday, Peter Johnson was first in the M60 age-group in the RunThrough 5K in Victoria Park, placing seventh overall (19:29).
