Striders of Croydon had two of the first three female finishers at two different parkruns on Saturday morning. At Roundshaw, Ellyw Evans was the second woman to finish, placing ninth overall (22:53), while Selena Wong was the third woman to finish, placing 25th overall (25:16). At Lloyd Park, Cindy Siu was the second woman to finish, placing 40th overall (25:13), while Debra Bourne was the third woman to finish, placing 45th overall (25:43). Striders’ men were led by Lee Flanagan who placed third of the 155 finishers (19:07), while Simon Ambrosi was fourth (20:01) and Steve Corfield fifth (20:15).
Erik Schrijnemaekers was second out of 66 finishers at the Bethlem Royal Hospital parkrun (19:25), while Graeme Drysdale was fifth (20:01). Andrew Aitken was third out of 208 finishers at the Crystal Palace parkrun (18:54). Linda Daniel was the fourth woman to finish the Lymington Woodside parkrun, placing 20th overall (26:21). John Punt was fifth in the Brooklands parkrun (19:29), Marc Burrows was fifth in the Banstead parkrun (19:59), and Stephen Kennefick was fifth in the Riddlesdown parkrun (21:12). Striders had a total of 84 finishers in the various weekly parkruns.
