Parkrun

Nathan Robertshaw, from Striders of Croydon, ran well to place first out of 220 finishers in the Aberystwyth parkrun on Saturday (18:06). Erik Schrijnemaekers placed first out of 190 finishers in the Leas parkrun, at Minster-on-Sea on the Isle of Sheppey (18:29). Rachel Lindley was the first woman to finish the Dulwich parkrun, placing 40th overall out of 749 finishers (19:36). Consuelo Kennefick was the first woman to finish the Riddlesdown parkrun, placing 24th overall out of 235 finishers (22:31).

Phil Coales placed second out of 790 finishers in the Burgess parkrun in Camberwell (16:43). Alex Legge was the second woman to finish the Innpromenade parkrun at Innsbruck in Austria, placing eleventh overall out of 57 finishers (24:43). Daniel Finch placed fourth out of 479 finishers in the Greenwich Peninsula parkrun (17:52), while Lee Flanagan was fourth out of 273 finishers in the Lloyd parkrun (19:50). Cindy Siu was the fourth woman to finish the Morden parkrun, placing 56th overall out of 259 finishers (24:47). Striders had a total of
131 finishers in the various weekly parkruns.

On Sunday, Steve Massey placed 175th out of 322 finishers in the Three Forts Challenge Half-Marathon, at Lancing in Sussex. He completed the undulating course in 2:34:03.
