James races to Striders’ record at Hastings
James Bennett created history for Striders of Croydon on Sunday when he smashed their all-time Half Marathon record with a brilliant run of 1 hour 11 minutes and 55 seconds at the Hasting Half Marathon. This placed him fourth in a race of three thousand finishers and follows from his victory in the Brands Hatch Half a couple of weeks ago.
Elsewhere Michael Stewart finished with an excellent time of 1 hour 21 minutes and 54 seconds at the Reading Half.
