James debuts for Striders with a win
James Bennett made an excellent debut for Striders of Croydon by winning the weekly parkrun in Lloyd Park on Saturday, covering the muddy five-kilometre course in 18 minutes 31 seconds and finishing more than a minute clear of his nearest rival. Greg Williams was fifth (21.31) and Krzysztof Klidzia sixth (21.34). Ernie Hann was eighth in the Dulwich parkrun, recording exactly 18 minutes. Striders had a total of 36 finishers in the various local parkruns.
