Another track PB for James Rhodes!
James Rhodes, from Striders of Croydon, produced another very good run in the South London Athletics Network Open Meeting at Tooting on Saturday. He ran the 800 metres in a new personal best of 2 minutes 09.45 seconds, placing fifth in his heat. At the same venue three days earlier, in the Herne Hill Harriers Open Meeting, Peter Johnson was third in his heat of the 3000 metres, recording 11 minutes 21.54 seconds. This was an improvement of 41 seconds on his previous best and places him 23rd in this year’s British rankings for the M55 age-group (covering athletes aged 55 to 59).
