Iain Harrison, from Striders of Croydon, ran very well in wet and windy conditions to win the Maxifuel Half-Marathon at Eton Dorney on Saturday. Striders of Croydon faced strong opposition in the South of England Cross-Country Championships, held at Parliament Hill on Saturday. They did well to place 18th of the 31 competing clubs. Their best performance came from Iain Harrison who placed 126th of the 541 finishers, completing the very muddy 15-kilometre course in 59 minutes 36 seconds.

Striders of Croydon produced a good team performance in their final Surrey Cross-Country League Division Two match of the season at Dorking on Saturday.
