Daniel Finch, from Striders of Croydon, ran well to place first out of 167 finishers in the Lyme Park parkrun at Disley in Cheshire on Saturday (19:35). Anna Docile was the first woman to finish the Lloyd parkrun, placing 34th overall out of 274 finishers (24:44). Debra Bourne was the third woman to finish, placing 58th overall (26:09), while Striders’ men were led by Steve Corfield who placed third (20:00), with Kerim Suruliz fourth (20:24). 

Chris Porter placed second out of 208 finishers in the Squerryes Winery parkrun (18:33). James Rhodes placed third out of 354 finishers in the Edgbaston Reservoir parkrun (17:54). Kara Boaks was the third woman to finish the Beckenham Place parkrun, placing 47th overall out of 407 finishers (22:28). Erik Schrijnemaekers placed fourth out of 90 finishers in the South Oxhey parkrun in Hertfordshire (19:58). Zoe Siu was the fourth female finisher in the Wakehurst parkrun in Sussex, placing 42nd overall out of 383 finishers (21:58). Striders had a total of 132 finishers in the various weekly parkruns.

Also on Saturday, Paul Thomas was second in the M40 age-group in the RunThrough Battersea 5K road race, placing 17th overall out of 294 finishers (17:54).

On Sunday morning, Caleb Macenhill placed second out of 104 finishers in the Lloyd junior parkrun (8:00), while Zoe Siu was the first female finisher, placing third overall (8:03).
