Peter Mills, from Striders of Croydon, continued his good recent form with another very good run in the Wokingham Half-Marathon on Sunday. In a high-quality field, he placed 28th out of more than 2000 finishers, recording a new personal best of 73 minutes 18 seconds, which lifts him to third place in Striders’ all-time club

Their best performance came from Peter Mills, who was 72nd out of 1026 finishers in the senior men’s race, covering the very muddy nine-mile course in 55 minutes 06 seconds. Tyler O’Callaghan, from Striders of Croydon, ran very well to place eighth of the 597 finishers in the Tadworth 10-mile race on Sunday, recording 63 minutes 46 seconds in wet and windy conditions. Krzysztof Klidzia also ran well to place fifth in the over-50 category and 23rd overall (67.31), while Matthew Stone was 54th (71.17)
