• Cranleigh 15/21

    26/03/2017 @ 9:00 am – 10:00 am

IMPORTANT: We wish to make it clear that you can enter the 21 mile event and drop out at 15 miles if for any reason you do not wish to continue and still collect a 15m medal and a recorded time. We would prefer everyone to enter the 21 even if you have no intention of running more than 15m because it simplifies downloading details from RW. This is an ideal pre-London Marathon training race. Please enter early to avoid disappointment. The course goes through beautiful countryside and is relatively flat with a few undulations.
The 15-mile event consists of a nine-mile lap to the south and east of Cranleigh followed by a six-mile lap to the west of Cranleigh. The 21-mile event repeats the six-mile loop. Please note: there is a strict cut-off time at the 15-mile point. Runners wishing to continue for the 21 miles must reach the 15 mile mark by 12 noon, i.e.3hrs after the start. (If you are concerned that you may not make this time please contact mail@brianvine.com) There are drinks stations every 3-4 miles and at the finish. Showers are available in the Leisure Centre at a special rate -show race number as proof. Sports massage should also be available in the Race HQ Band Room. Refreshments will be available both before the start and after the race in the Bandroom. There are definitely NO entries on the day. Race numbers and instructions will be sent out during February/early March, therefore, if you haven’t received your number by 10th March please let me know. The location and course details can be found on the MABAC web site: www.mabac.org.uk
