Family Membership

If you wish to include your spouse or partner and any children please complete the form below.

Family Membership for one adult and up to three children is £40. Family Membership for two adults is £60 and £65 for two adults plus any children. Second claim membership for a couple who are first claim members at another club will be £30.

Please note that we do not specifically support junior runners as there is no guarantee that the leaders of runs have the appropriate CRB checks. However junior family members from 12 to 16 may run with the club provided they are accompanied to and from the club and on the club run by a responsible adult. By completing this form you are implying consent and accepting responsibility for your children.

Once we have verified your entry is complete and you have paid your subscription  we will add you to our membership list and to our email circulation list -Striderslist.

First claim members will be registered with UKA Athletics (which entitles you to discounts on most race entries and 10% discount at most running shops).

Once processed your details are kept on the UKA secure data base and are not held on line by Striders.

We are applying to join Striders of Croydon Running Club and am medically fit to attend all activities organised by the Club. Neither my family or I shall hold Striders of Croydon Running Club responsible for any injury or illness incurred during or as a result of running, training, competing with the Club or joining in any other activity as organised by the Club from time to time. I am 18 years old or older and make this declaration on behalf of myself and my family.

Data Protection:-

When you become a member of or renew your membership with Striders of Croydon you will automatically be registered as a member of England Athletics. We will provide England Athletics with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you (called myAthletics). England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your MyAthletics portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings). If you have any questions about the continuing privacy of your personal data when it is shared with England Athletics, please contact
dataprotection@englandathletics.org.

If you are sure you are never going to run competitively for us or you are a first claim member of another club you can choose to be an unaffiliated member, In which case you pay the £20 club membership fee and not the additional £15 affiliation fee. Either put your first claim club name or “Non Comp” in the box above.
